6.29.2023: There are a few of these awesome Liz Phair type artist out in recent years. Some I quite like like Courntey Barnett’s 2018 ‘Tell Me How You Really Feel.’ Artist Sabrina Teitelbaum, with Blondshell as a pseudonym, is certainly in this camp.
Read More2021: I haven’t heard as much great innovative hip-hop from female artists in recent years. The Cardi-Doja-Stallion-Minaj releases are kinda meh. This Brit-Hop artist is certainly as exception.

Read More2021: That big mystical sound Mastodon is known for. I enjoy the prog elements of their records, which Hushed has in spades. So there is more switch up. It’s not all thrash, there is time-signature trickery, atmospheric sound…you know, proggy.

Read More2021: Almost as good as this album are the smokey fresh videos. I really like what they did here. Bringing us all back to a largely forgotten period in soul, late 60s to early 70s. Certainly not forgotten by me.
Read More2021: I’m really routing for this guy. It must be hard to be in the shadow of one of the greatest all time rock guitar gods. Wolfy has his own sound here. Mammoth is a solid main stream metal album. Epiphany really stood out for me.
Read More2021: 2021: An assumption was made, when first seeing this album cover, that it is a hip-hop album. It might partly be but it is mainly an alternative R&B, neo-soul, rap-rock mash-up by a great new Australian artist.
